We are both delighted and proud to support LKAB on their bold transformation journey into a fossil-free mining and iron production company. As they set their sights on consuming more than 70 TWh by 2050, becoming one of the world’s largest hydrogen producers and consumers, we couldn’t be prouder to be a part of this monumental shift.

Our focus is cost optimization of LKAB's industrial processes, especially the production of hydrogen through electrolysis, alongside storage, transmission, and consumption. Our industrial models not only stand alone but also integrate with our electrical grid models. This integration allows us to create a comprehensive model of Power-to-X (PtX) processes.

Given our key role, we've gained invaluable insights into the design and execution of large-scale hydrogen infrastructure projects as well as the development of power systems in the Nordic region. It's truly exciting to be entrusted with such a critical part in LKAB's journey towards sustainability.
