Swedish base industry company

The problem

The client lacked a clear view of Swedish power price forecasts, and of which key factors need to materialise for electricity demand to grow in line with the green transition.

our approach

Combining market intelligence with modelling, we identified the developments that need to come through for demand to increase, then quantified the effect on the power price forecast with and without that demand growth.

the outcome

We presented the findings to the client’s management team, giving them a deeper, more nuanced understanding of the Swedish power market and its long-term outlook.
