We help clients optimise the sizing, capacity and technical specification of standalone BESS, co-located storage, new generation, and hydrogen storage and electrolysers, using our power market forecasts and optimisation models.

We find the optimal design and structure for a client’s project, whether that’s the size and C-rate of a co-located BESS, the balance between electrolysers and storage in a hydrogen project, or the layout of a greenfield solar PV or wind park. The analysis is data-driven, built on forecasting and optimisation across the power and ancillary markets.
The service is for IPPs, industries, utilities and developers weighing up how to design a project so it makes financial sense, given how the power market is actually likely to behave.
Our analysis uses our in-house cGrid and optimisation models, giving a transparent, data-driven approach to each optimisation problem.
We align with clients on the key questions they need answered, and deliver clear, quantifiable results showing the best way forward for their project.
Our modelling covers 33 weather years, giving clients a detailed view of the upside and downside of their investment, based on statistical analysis of future power market prices.
Every analysis is shaped around a client's own challenges and constraints. Grid limitations, budget, risk aversion and project-specific parameters are built into the models and factored into the analysis.
